The model is the drawing, the schedule, the plan.
I'm a civil engineer specialized in BIM. I build structural Revit models where every bar, beam and section is modeled once and flows into the shop drawings, schedules and quantities — coordinated, not copied.
Damascus University graduate, now producing structural documentation for commercial projects in Saudi Arabia.

One model, one truth
Reinforcement is modeled in 3D, not drafted twice. Drawings, bar schedules and quantities all come from the same source — so they never disagree.
Draw for the site
A shop drawing has one job: to be built correctly. I detail for the steel-fixer and the formwork, not just for the checker.
Coordinate early
Clashes are cheapest to fix in the model. ACC and Navisworks keep the structure aligned with every other discipline before it reaches site.
